Bitter and Twisted UX Redesign

A heuristic evaluation revealed that the original site lacked intuitive labeling and navigation and contained no clear hierarchy or goal. Each step in the redesign – from establishing user needs to defining information architecture-–was backed by research and testing. The site comps were created in Photoshop and prototyped for further user testing in Invision. The designs were tested iteratively until users were able to complete tasks (such as finding the menu or booking a table) without becoming frustrated or having to stop and think.
